Autumn 2020

This autumn was very exciting. There was a lot of quarantine, but also a varnish making course in France! A group of fifteen enthusiastic violin makers gathered in the town of Bécherel in October, where we tried out various varnish recipes under the tutelage of varnish expert François Perego. We cooked varnish and took notes for six days, and it inspired us all with new ideas for our future varnishes.
